Helping and Caring for those in need

We see it on our TVs, read about it in our newspapers, and sometimes we’re confronted by it on the street or through people we know. Some people are left behind, and others are just caught up in a cycle without access to help. It may be social, physical, or emotional – we want to reach out to them, to help them out of a difficult place.

We want to foster positive, healthy life skills,and connections for young people.

Serving Hands was set up on the idea of ‘serving’ those in society who are vulnerable, require guidance, or those who just need assistance to get along. 

Following the example of Jesus Christ, the Pinnacle example of a Servant, we too want to make a difference in lives of others – those who need help because their circumstances have been forgotten, or just those who wouldn’t mind a Serving Hand!

Children & Youth

Learning life skills and managing the challenges of growing up is a daunting task. For some, there is a strong family network to guide and nurture, but for others the need is greater than you think. Serving Hands is here to help facilitate projects to bring everyone to the same playing field.

Elderly


Our aim is to help the elderly by addressing frailty and loneliness through connection, at home and in a community environment. We want to alleviate the pressure of being unable to access services, and to offer rewarding interactions with others.

Feeding the Homeless

The need from the changing circumstances in the world has been so great! Yes, even here in Australia we have seen many families struggle to put food on the table, and those who are homeless and rely solely on the generosity of others. Seeing this, Helping Hands have stepped up to help out with the needs of some of the most vulnerable in society.
